Cole Porter’s score for Anything Goes is one of the most glorious in the history of the American theatre.
A number of songs from the original score of Anything Goes have been restored for this new production, “There’s No Cure Like Travel”, “The Gypsy In Me”, “Buddy Beware”, the introduction of “Public Enemy Number One” and “Easy To Love”.
The story revolves around the luxury liner SS America, and like all good comedies, a cast of misfit characters who by chance or other means find they are all on the ship at the same time. Reno is in love with Billy, Billy is in love with Hope Harcourt, Hope is going to marry Evelyn and so it goes on. Add to this Moonface Martin Public Enemy Number One who is on the run and causing havoc and you have all the incredients for a fun filled, song filled show.
The musical score is the dream of all musicals featuring I Get a Kick Out of You, There’s No Cure Like Travel, Bon Voyage, You’re The Top, Easy to Love, I Want to Row On The Crew, Friendship, It’s DeLovely, Anything Goes, Public Enemy Number One, Blow Gabriel Blow, Goodbye Little Dream, Be Like The Bluebird, All Through the Night, The Gypsy in Me, Buddy Beware.
The show is a madcap farce musical set upon a ship, and contains many classic Cole Porter tunes (listed below). We’ll be performing the 1987 Beaumont Theatre version, and it will be backed by an 18 piece orchestra.

Show season: Friday the 28th of August till Sunday the 13th of September. Shows every Friday and Saturday nights at 8PM, plus Saturdays at 2PM and two Sunday performances on the 6th and 13th at 2PM.
