Contemporary Musical Theatre Performance Saturday August 14

The Arcadians Theatre Group is proud to present another Contemporary Musical Theatre Performance hosted by Nico Familar and Adam Vujic. We have a fantastic line up of songs that will be performed by some old and new members of the Arcadians Theatre Group.

A workshop was held last Saturday (7th August) where the performers were able to choose songs from 5 Contemporary Musical Theatre composers; Adam Guettel, William Finn, Andrew Lippa, Michael John LaChuisa, and Stephen Schwartz. There will be songs you are familiar with and some that aren’t. The songs that have been chosen are beautifully composed and we are sure you will enjoy the performances.

Join us on SATURDAY 14th of August at 5.30pm at the Arcadians Theatre in Corrimal. This performance is FREE, so come along and have a fanstic evening with us! We hope to see you there!

As the night drums beat out the rhythm of this evocative song, follow the zombie-trail in this intriguing comedy-action-mystery-musical where not anything but everything happens! No such thing as a zombie? Wrong! This musical has a whole chorus of them. In fact, Lusciously Latin, it is impossible to keep still when this music is played… calypso, reggae, limbo, cha-cha … and so much more. Hey mon, come to our Caribbean Carnival!

The ACT 25th Anniversary Dinner tickets are on sale NOW The dinner is on 7th August 2010, 7pm at The City Beach Function Centre. Tickets are $40 adults $15 kids(2 -15). Drinks will be on sale, we’ll have cake and some great entertainment. Tickets can only be bought ONLINE and will stay on sale until 3rd of August. Print out your tickets and show them to the door on the night. Hope to see lots of people new and old celebrating 25 years of ACT. Oklahoma information nights will be on Tuesday 3rd August & Thursday 5th August @ 7.30pm with auditions on Tuesday 17th August & Thursday 19th August from 6.30 pm click on the Oklahoma poster to find out more.
